Privacy
This privacy notice explains how Racesta ("we", "us") processes personal data collected through racesta.com. Racesta is a business-to-business content provider. We do not offer betting or gambling services to consumers, and this website is intended for representatives of licensed operators, aggregators and platform providers.
Who is responsible
The data controller is [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. For any privacy question or request, write to [email protected].
What we collect and why
1. Enquiry and demo requests. When you use the "Book a demo" or contact form we collect the details you enter: name, work email, company, telephone, Telegram handle, website, country, role, the products you are interested in and your message. We also record the page you sent it from, your language, your IP address and browser type, and the date and time. We use this data to answer your request, schedule a demonstration and, if you become a customer, to set up the commercial relationship. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
2. Technical data. Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, requested URL, timestamp, browser) for security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting. Legal basis: legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.
3. Analytics. If you accept analytics, we use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation to understand how the site is used (pages visited, approximate location, device type). Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time as described in the cookie section.
We do not sell personal data, we do not use it for automated decision-making, and we do not use this website to profile individuals.
Who receives the data
Enquiries are stored on our own servers and sent by email to our sales team. We use the following categories of processors: web hosting and email delivery providers, and Google LLC for analytics where you have consented. Where a processor is located outside the European Economic Area we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and for up to 24 months afterwards, unless a commercial relationship follows, in which case they are kept for the duration of the contract and the statutory retention period. Server logs are deleted after 90 days. Analytics data is retained for 14 months.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability and to withdraw consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any right, email [email protected]; we will respond within one month.
Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on access-controlled systems. Enquiry records are only accessible to authorised staff behind two-factor authentication.
Children
This website is not directed at persons under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows the current version.
Terms
These terms govern your use of racesta.com (the "Site"), operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] ("Racesta"). By using the Site you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Purpose of the Site
The Site presents Racesta's virtual racing products to licensed betting operators, aggregators, platform providers and their representatives. Nothing on the Site is an offer to the public to place bets or wagers. Racesta does not operate betting services and does not accept stakes from consumers.
2. Business use only
The Site and the demo facility are intended for professional users acting on behalf of a company. By submitting a demo or contact request you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and are authorised to act for the organisation you name.
3. Information on the Site
Product descriptions, specifications, schedules, availability figures, integration timelines and illustrations are provided for general information and may change without notice. Race cards, odds and runners shown on the Site are samples only. Any supply of products is governed exclusively by a separate written agreement between Racesta and the customer; nothing on the Site forms part of such an agreement unless expressly incorporated.
4. Licensing and compliance
Racesta products may only be deployed by operators holding the licences required in the jurisdictions where they offer them. It is the operator's responsibility to obtain and maintain such licences and to comply with applicable law, including responsible-gambling and player-protection rules.
5. Intellectual property
All content on the Site, including text, illustrations, logos, race formats, software and design, is owned by or licensed to Racesta and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and print pages for the purpose of evaluating our products. You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, scrape or create derivative works from the Site without our written permission. "Racesta" and the Racesta logo are trademarks of Racesta.
6. Acceptable use
You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or its systems, probe or scan for vulnerabilities, introduce malicious code, overload the Site, or use automated tools to submit forms. We log access and may block addresses that abuse the Site.
7. Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites (for example messaging or social platforms). We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Site is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Racesta excludes all warranties, express or implied, regarding the Site and its content, and is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or from reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Privacy
Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy section above, which forms part of these terms.
10. Changes
We may modify the Site or these terms at any time. The current version is always available on this page; continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Anjouan, and the courts of Anjouan have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute relating to them, without prejudice to mandatory consumer or data-protection rights that may apply to you.
12. Contact
Racesta, Anjouan, [email protected].
Cookies
This section explains which cookies and similar technologies racesta.com uses and how you can control them.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember information between pages or visits.
Cookies we use
Strictly necessary
- rcsid — a session cookie set by our server. It keeps your session state (for example so that the contact form can be protected against cross-site request forgery) and, in the administration area, keeps staff logged in. It contains a random identifier only and is deleted when you close the browser. It cannot be disabled because the Site would not work without it.
Analytics (only with your consent)
- _ga, _ga_* — set by Google Analytics 4 if you accept analytics. They contain a random identifier used to distinguish visitors and sessions so that we can measure how the Site is used. IP addresses are anonymised. Lifetime: up to 14 months. Provider: Google LLC. Google's privacy information is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
We do not use advertising cookies, we do not use cookies to profile you, and we do not share cookie data with advertising networks.
Third-party content
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Google may see your IP address when the font files are requested. No cookies are set by this request.
How to control cookies
You can withdraw consent to analytics at any time by deleting cookies in your browser; the Site will not set analytics cookies again until you accept them. All modern browsers also let you block or delete cookies through their settings; see the help pages of Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge. Blocking the strictly necessary cookie will prevent the contact and demo forms from working.
Changes
We review this cookie information when the Site's technology changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
